First Impressions

When Rafael came with the idea of having Applied Linguistics this term I honestly hate it. I thought how?? we all will have an awful subject in the sense of we are not going to learn effectively and before I knew the teacher I also thought that she/he will drive us crazy with a big amount of information or perhaps she/he will not be as good as we deserve.
Felling like that is not unacceptable by the fact that during the first semester things happened just like that. We spent four months with no teacher and when he finally came it was totally rubbish. I was very motivated on the first days but then the teacher did not achieve my and others expectations. It was very disappointing.
Although when I saw Jane for the very first time I realized that she is like Rafael said a very special person. Since the beginning she showed herself as a comprehensible person telling us the pros and cons of studying AP now. And as well I found out that I was being very pessimistic about starting right away.
Finishing this brief comment Tuesday I was talking to Evelise on how nice it will be if Jane were our English four teacher and yesterday on Wednesday I couldn’t believe when she said that it has a good change this statement became true. She certainly has huge knowledge to share with us and I am really happy with this possibility.

  1. Hiii dear!! \o/
    You and I were talking about it yesterday and I agree with you!
    We already can see that Jane is really special and that she just LOVES what she does! In my opinion she is a very good teacher and I think that both Linguistics and English classes will be good with her!
    But I'll just say what Rafael said: all the group have to colaborate with Linguistcs' classes because it isn't going to be good if nobody read the texts!!
    We're lucky for having Jane as our teacher! ;)
    Aline, I found some mistakes on you text! I think that the majority of your mistakes happened for inattention, but take a look at them:
    *"hate it" -> "hated it"
    *"I thought how??" -> "I thought: How??" (I think this form is much better, don't you think so?)
    *"We all will have" -> "we will all have"
    *"she/he will" -> "she/he would" (you did it twice)
    *"felling" -> "feeling"
    *"it will be if Jane were" -> "it would be if Jane were"
    *"this statement became true" -> "this statement become true"
    Kisses girl! Have a good Sunday! ;)

  2. Hello Aline!
    Everydoby is talking about Jane! I don't know her, because I didn't take this subject, but I'm really curious about her classes!
    And it's very good you all liked her, because I agree with that there isn't much time to learn this subject.
    I'm sad Rafael won't be our teacher on English four, but I also want to have classes with Jane, just by what you're all saying about her!
    I hope you enjoy the subject and the teacher untill the end!
    See you!
    Ju

  5. Hi Aline
    I'm very happy with this new too, not because the subject she will teach, it doesn´t matter, but just the fact that she will be our teacher again makes me happy, she is brilliant!
    ;)
